Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your StatementOrganizer account and everything in it. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

How to delete your account

In the app (fastest):

1. Sign in on the web or in the mobile app.
2. Go to Settings → Privacy.
3. Scroll to Delete account and select Delete my account.
4. Confirm by typing your email address.

If you cannot sign in: email statementorganizer.app@gmail.com from the address on the account. We will verify it is you and delete the account for you.

Before you delete: export your data

From the same Settings → Privacy screen you can Export my data and download everything we hold about you. Do this first if you want to keep a copy — once deletion completes, we cannot recover anything.

The grace period

Deletion is not instant. We schedule it and hold the account for a short grace period (currently 7 days) so an accidental or malicious request can be undone. During that time you can sign in and select Cancel deletion. After the grace period the deletion runs automatically and cannot be reversed.

What is deleted

Permanently removed:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile, settings, preferences and consent records
• Every uploaded statement and document file
• All extracted transactions, categories, accounts, entities and fees
• Your AI chat history, saved prompts and generated reports
• Reminders, insights and charts
• Your stored AI provider keys
• Support tickets and feedback you submitted
• Your mobile push notification token

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data survives deletion because we are legally required to keep it, or because it no longer identifies you:

Encrypted database backups are kept on a rolling schedule and age out automatically. Your data is not restored from them except in a disaster.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to delete the whole account. From inside the app you can delete individual statements, transactions, chats and reports at any time.
