How to Auto-Forward Bank Statements to StatementOrganizer in Outlook for Mac
StatementOrganizer Team · July 26, 2026

Avoid the manual uploads — now you can simply forward email statements from your bank account to StatementOrganizer.com automatically! Set up Outlook for Mac following the steps below.
Before you start
The email address where you can forward your statements to is:
Everything you forward there gets processed into your account automatically.
One important tip: add your email address in your settings
A forwarded email arrives from your address, so register it with StatementOrganizer:
- Log in to StatementOrganizer.com.
- Go to your user settings.
- Find alternative email addresses (approved or additional emails).
- Add each email address you'll forward from, and save.
This is the most common reason a forwarded statement doesn't show up.
Set up automatic forwarding
The newer Outlook for Mac uses a Rules panel similar to the web version.
Step 1: Open Rules
- Open Outlook for Mac.
- In the menu bar, click Outlook or Settings, then Rules — or open Settings (gear) and choose Rules.
- Click Add new rule (or +).
Step 2: Name the rule and add conditions
- Name it Forward statements to StatementOrganizer.
- Add condition From — the address your bank sends statements from.
- Add condition Subject includes — type statement and any other words your bank uses.
(If a Has attachment condition is available in your version, add it too, so only emails with the statement file attached are forwarded.)
Step 3: Add the forwarding action
- Choose the action Forward to.
- Type upload@statementorganizer.com.
Step 4: Save
Click Save or OK.
Optional: sort your statement into a category as you send it
Forwarding by hand lets you file into a category via the subject line.
The subject is matched against your set-up categories; an exact match files it there.
- Open the statement and click Forward.
- In To, type upload@statementorganizer.com.
- Replace the subject with the exact category name from your settings.
- Keep the attachment, then Send.
This works on manual forwards only.
A quick check
Forward a past statement by hand to upload@statementorganizer.com and confirm it lands in your account. Tip: when forwarding an email with an attachment on a Mac, check the attachment is actually included before sending — occasionally it needs to be re-attached. If a statement doesn't come through, check the sender address is in your settings and the subject contains your filter word.
This guide reflects Outlook for Mac at the time of writing; Microsoft updates the app periodically and the exact Rules menu location varies by version. Some Mac email setups drop attachments on rule-based auto-forwarding — if that happens, use manual forwarding, which reliably includes the attachment.
