How to Forward Bank Statements to StatementOrganizer in Proton Mail

Avoid the manual uploads — you can forward email statements from your bank to StatementOrganizer.com using Proton Mail. Proton's setup differs a little by plan, so here's what works.

Before you start

The email address where you can forward your statements to is:

upload@statementorganizer.com

Everything you forward there gets processed into your account automatically.

One important tip: add your email address in your settings

A forwarded email arrives from your Proton address, so register it:

1. Log in to StatementOrganizer.com.
2. Go to your user settings.
3. Find alternative email addresses.
4. Add each address you'll forward from, and save.

Automatic forwarding (paid plans)

Proton Mail supports automatic message forwarding on its paid plans, set up through filters:

1. Sign in to Proton Mail in your browser.
2. Open Settings (gear icon), then go to the full settings.
3. Find Filters (or Forward / Auto-forward, depending on your plan).
4. Create a filter with conditions — Sender contains your bank's address, and Subject contains statement — and an action to forward to upload@statementorganizer.com.
5. Save. Proton may ask you to confirm the forwarding address first.

(Forwarding options and their exact location vary by Proton plan and are periodically updated — if you don't see automatic forwarding, your plan may not include it, in which case use the manual method below.)

Manual forwarding (any plan, always works)

1. Open the statement email in Proton Mail.
2. Click the Forward arrow.
3. Confirm the attachment is included.
4. In To, type upload@statementorganizer.com, then Send.

Optional: sort your statement into a category as you send it

When forwarding by hand, put a category name in the subject line to file it automatically. The subject is matched against your set-up categories; an exact match files it there.

1. When forwarding, clear the subject line.
2. Type the exact category name from your settings — e.g. Personal Savings.
3. Keep the attachment, then Send.

A quick check

Forward a past statement by hand to upload@statementorganizer.com and confirm it appears in your account. If it doesn't, check the sender address is registered in your settings.

This guide reflects Proton Mail at the time of writing. Automatic forwarding is generally a paid-plan feature and its location in settings changes with updates; manual forwarding works on all plans. Because of Proton's encryption, some automated forwarding behaviour differs from other providers.
