How to Upload Your Statements Into the Vault
StatementOrganizer Team · July 5, 2026

Getting your statements into StatementOrganizer starts with the Vault — your private, organized home for every bank and card statement.
Here's how simple it is:
- Sign in to statementorganizer.com and open the Vault from the menu.
- Pick or create a category (like "Personal" or "Business") to keep statements organized.
- Drag and drop your files, or click to browse — PDF, CSV, XLS, and XLSX are all supported, even password-protected PDFs.
- Sit back while our AI reads every line and extracts your transactions, accounts, fees, and more.
That's it! Once uploaded, your statement is automatically parsed — no manual data entry, no spreadsheets to wrangle. You can upload statements from any bank, in any format, and StatementOrganizer keeps everything neatly sorted by category.
A few friendly tips:
- Setup Data Masks before uploading documents to hide personal information!
- Uploads count toward your plan's monthly quota, so batch similar statements together.
- Deleting a file frees up storage space, but it won't restore your upload count for the cycle.
- If a statement is password-protected, just enter the password at upload time — we handle the rest securely.
Once your files are in the Vault, you unlock everything else StatementOrganizer offers: AI chat about your spending, automatic fee detection, spend trends, and more.
Ready to get organized? Head to your Vault and upload your first statement today.
